I have been posting a lot about the upcoming release of my book on Instagram and Facebook, but just realized I may not have said anything here! 

Since 2021, I have been working on a book titled “Heavenly Hustle: Giving our Entire Earthly Life a Heavenly Purpose.” In the fall of 2023, I made the decision to move forward with self-publishing. My book will officially be released on March 14; that’s two weeks from now!

As a pastor’s kid, a ministry leader in college, and now on the pastoral team at my church I have seen the many sides of ministry. Growing up with my parents, I have also seen ministry outside of the church. I have seen the ways in which we can live our secular lives as a ministry to the Kingdom of God. 

“Heavenly Hustle” is a combination of biblical stories, and my own personal life stories that will point readers toward living their entire earthly lives with heavenly purpose. The Lord calls us in Matthew 19 to go out into all the world and make disciples. A lot of us are IN the world, but we’re unsure about making disciples there. We want to drag those people to church to be made disciples, but there is a way to live our lives and make disciples wherever we are. 

One of my favorite quotes from Christian author Hannah Brencher in her book Come Matter Here is: “I think the point of this lifetime is to live as deeply as you can, with the people to the right and left of you, in the place where God sets your feet.” Wherever we are is the place God wants us to be, and wherever we are can be used for God’s purposes.
